Models - Contests and Display
The model and photo contests will follow NMRA national rules. Description of each category and forms are on the national NMRA site: http://www.getnet.net/~dickg/nmra/contests/
Models meeting Achievement Programs guidelines for merit awards will earn certificates.
In addition we will have the Blue Lantern Award, given to the judged contest model best representing branch line, short line, or private line operating equipment; and the Chester Muszalski Award, given to the best steam entry.

As a special feature, we have set aside room for non-competitive model display. Bring a favorite structure, piece of rolling stock, motive power, or diorama you’ve built. These will not be judged. We’d simply like to give you a chance to show off models that will spark conversation, exemplify your particular modeling interest, illustrate the subject of your clinic, or use an exciting new product. If you consider yourself a prototype modeler, here’s a place to exhibit your work.Model Contest Categories |
