Area Layouts

Several local layouts will be open on Sunday April 30th. Here are links to North Central West Virginia Model Railroads that should be on the layout tour:

Mon Valley Railroad Club - A large freelanced HO scale layout designed for operation
Michael Hohn - 1880's HO scale set in upstate New York
Michael Hohn - A new layout now underway.
Steve Raque - A busy Pittsburgh & Lake Erie mainline in HO scale.
Nevin Wilson - An HO scale version of the former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in Morgantown, W. Va.
Gary Deavers - An HO scale West Virginia setting during the early Chessie years.
Keith DeVault - An HO scale layout set along the B&O in West Virginia.
 
 
Richard Turton - A freelanced HO scale layout inspired by the Western Maryland Railway.
Eric Hansmann - An HO scale layout following the Western Maryland Railway in Elkins, W. Va.

Bob Weinheimer - The HO scale Pittsburgh Southern connects Pittsburgh to the deep south along the western edge of the Appalachians. This layout is in Charleston, W. Va.

Ken Hanawalt - An intensive HO scale industrial switching layout, using steam and early diesel. This layout is near Washington, Penna.

Kevin Kuzman - An HOn3 Rio Grande Southern layout set in the time period of the late 1940’s to early 1950’s around the famous Vance Junction. This layout is in Charleroi, Penna.

Mid-Mon Valley Model Railroad Club - An HO scale layout featuring Monongahela Valley prototypical scenes between Brownsville and Elizabeth, Penna. Railroads represented are the PRR, Pittsburgh & Lake Erie, Pittsburgh & West Virginia, and the Monongahela. This layout is in New Eagle, Penna., near Charleroi.

Don Cassler - M&K Division of the B&O - An HO scale layout is designed to "capture the feeling" of the B&O's West End Division in West Virginia. Don's work has been featured in Railroad Model Craftsman, Model Railroad Planning and Model Railroader. This layout is in Pittsburgh, Penna.
