East Staging :: Patterson Creek, W. Va.

The far eastern point of our railroad is another staging yard similar to Ravenswood, where our journey began. Several westbound trains are staged here ready to run on the mainline. We currently have no easy way to turn locomotives at Patterson Creek. A large turntable has been considered and construction may begin soon.

On a West Virginia map, the Patterson Creek yard would be at the point where Patterson Creek flows into the Potomac River a few miles east of Cumberland, Maryland.
