Events
| The Mon Valley Railroad Club has participated in many events over the last several years. We have transported, set up, and operated a 12' x 24' HO scale model railroad to the Forest Festival in Elkins, W. Va., the Labor Day Festival in Rowlesburg, W. Va., and Mountaineer Week on the West Virginia University campus in our home of Morgantown. We have also opened our permanent layout for open house events in conjunction with downtown Morgantown events. |  |

| We have a few appearances this fall at events in Morgantown and Rowlesburg, W. Va. We will have an operating 12 x 28 foot HO scale display at these events as well as a 2x8 foot switching layout for visitors to try. | We are also holding our first open house events in several years. These dates we will have our permanent layout operating for public viewing. The display layout and switching layout will also be operating. | December 8 & 9, 2007 January 12 & 13, 2008 The Open House will be held at the club facilities at 128 Pleasant Street in downtown Morgantown. |
At any of these events, our members may be involved with switching cars in the yard, or building new freight cars from kits, or building and detailing new structures for the layout. They will be happy to explain some modeling techniques. So, stop by and say hello.
